VVS Laxman’s contract as batting consultant of Bengal team extended by CAB

Before the upcoming full calendar of the Indian domestic cricket season, the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) has signed the contract of VVS Laxman as their team’s batting consultant. The former batsman from India has been named as the batting consultant in CAB’s vision 2020 project.

The Ranji trophy will return to the Indian local calendar for the 2021-22 season following a Covid-19-induced cancellation in 2020-21. It will form part of a complete local calendar for 2127 matches for the upcoming season and has been put in a three-month window from 16 November 2021 to 19 February 2022.
