WATCH: Harry Kane says England enjoys ‘incredible’ Wembley return in EURO 2020

England could take another step to achieve their vision of winning a major tournament when they return to Wembley for their semi-final against Denmark, captain Harry Kane said.

Kane scored twice in the English 4-0 quarter-final over Ukraine in Rome on Saturday as he reached the last four of the Euros for the first time in 25 years.

Gareth Southgate’s team returns to England’s national stadium on Wednesday for the penultimate leg of the tournament, which Kane described as an ‘incredible’ event.

“We know it’s going to be a tough game. But we also know if we get it right and play how we know we can, then we have a great opportunity to get into a final,” Kane said.

“Many of us who are playing now do not have the chance to have such a big match at Wembley Stadium in a big tournament again. It is an opportunity for us and we have to seize it with both hands. We must enjoy being in that environment.

“From the back of the Germany game the mood was high and the stadium faltered, so hopefully we can use that energy again and really take the game to Denmark.”

England take on Denmark at Wembley on Wednesday. The two faced off in the Nations League last year and drew 0-0 in September before Denmark won 1-0 at Wembley the following month.
