2022 World Cup Qualifiers: Nigeria Announces 30 for Liberia and Cape Verde

The Super Eagles begin their search for a place in the 2022 World Cup next month

Nigeria coach Gernot Rohr has invited 30 players for their 2022 qualifiers against Liberia and Cape Verde in 2022.

The Super Eagles begin their Group C challenge against West African rivals Liberia at the Teslim Balogun Stadium on September 3 before traveling to Cape Verde four days later.

Rohr selected a strong team for the two matches, which includes seven players who would replace stars in the UK if the British government did not grant them an exemption for travel to Cape Verde (a red-listed country in their coronavirus -watch).
