Going out for a duck is a huge humiliation for any batsman. If a player loses his wicket without scoring a single run in any match, it is called a duck. Recently, Indian players Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan lost their wicket for a duck during the T20I series against Sri Lanka. If a player loses his wicket for a duck, it causes a great disappointment to him as he is unable to make a contribution to the team’s total.
Every batsman has to face a duck in his career. Many Indian players have also gone for their duck several times during their international careers. However, there are few players who have played many consecutive matches in T20I cricket without facing a duck.
They managed to avoid coming out on top for many consecutive games. In this list we look at four Indian players with the most consecutive T20I innings without a duck.
