Aditi Ashok, Bajrang Punia, Neeraj Chopra eye medals while India seeks record pull


On Saturday, August 7, a blockbuster could end on India’s performance at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. There are three events, and all three current medal chances – India have already won five medals and look at the London record 2012 when the contingent returned with six medals. Na Aditi Ashok, Diksha Dagar, Bajrang Punia and Neeraj Chopra.

POS 15:15 – WORSEL: Bronze medal match for men, 65 kg freestyle – Bajrang Punia vs TBD. Bajrang will fight against the winner of the repeat round which starts at 15.15.

16:30 – ATHLETICS: Javelin throw for men – Neeraj Chopra qualified first, throwing with the highest distance.
