International Algeria return to England after two seasons in the Qatar Stars League
Sheffield United have announced the signing of Algerian midfielder Adlene Guedioura.
After completing his time at the Al-Gharafa sports club of Qatar Stars League, the 35-year-old returns to England where he was given a one-year deal by the English Championship.
This move will reunite him with former driver Slavisa Jokanovic on Bramall Lane.

“Adlene Guedioura, known to boss Slavisa Jokanovic, has signed a one-year contract with the Blades after training with Shirecliffe for a few weeks.
“He has completed his medical and is available for selection, subject to international consent.”
Guedioura is not new to English football as he has appeared at Wolverhampton Wanderers, Nottingham Forest, Crystal Palace, Watford and Middlesbrough in the past.
He joins him this summer as Robin Olsen, Morgan Gibbs-White, Conor Hourihane and Ben Davies as new faces in the Blades team.
“I’m very happy to have signed, and I can not wait to play for the team,” said Guedioura.

“He completed three weeks of training with us and I believe he can bring something positive to the team.

The Desert Fox will wear jersey number 25 in Sheffield and could make its debut when the Blades host Preston on Tuesday.
