Argentina v Ecuador Live Comments and Results, 04/07/2021, Copa America

14 ‘ ARBOLEDA MAKES A GOAL SAVING BLOCK! Martinez breaks in behind the Ecuador defense to keep Pezzella’s ball on top and hit the ball past the striking Galindez. The forward sends a strike in the direction of the goal, but Arboleda who covers back to the line is free from danger.

10 ‘ Valencia go down and cling to his face after colliding with Acuna on the right flank. However, he soon got up to resume playing.

8 ‘ There was not much rhythm in the early stages. It was a stop-start affair.

However, it will take something special to send Lionel Messi and his company out of the tournament.

Argentina offer to reach the semi-finals of the Copa America for the fourth time in a row in their attempt to win their first crown since 1993. Lionel Scaloni’s men have made it through the group stage, winning three of their four matches, including a last-minute Hammer 4-1 win over Bolivia. Ecuador will present a challenge, but the Albiceleste are determined to make the final four.
