Mitchell Marsh, an Australian versatile player, recently got engaged to his girlfriend, Greta Mack. The youngest son of former Australian cricketer, coach and selector Geoff Marsh, Mitch went to social media to share the good news.
In the photo shared by Mitch, he looked nice with his girlfriend and showed off the ring. As soon as the 29-year-old broke the happy news, an avalanche of wishes began to flow into his comment section.
Mitch proposes to his now fiancée in the southwest of the WA, The Farm Margaret River, where the future bride’s family runs their business.
The couple were soon congratulated by a multitude of sporting identities, including Mitch’s teammates Marcus Stoinis, David warner and Pat Cummins, and soccer players Dylan Buckley and Mitch Duncan.
“Congratulations little guy,” wrote Warner.
“Yeah big man, congratulations guys,” English opener Jason Roy placed.
On the world front, Mitch will be in action next time in the upcoming 2020 T20 World Cup. Despite Australia losing the T20Is 1-4, Mitch’s performance was praised by fans and experts of the lucrative game.
In the first T20I, he achieves his first half-century in the format and follows it up with another productive half-century in the fourth game. He also recorded his career-best bowling figures of 3/24 in the same game.
