England and In the continue with a seesaw ride in the running second Test at Lords Cricket Ground in London. Day 4 came back from both sides as the game is well balanced and there is another day left.
After losing openers KL Rahul (5) and Rohit Sharma (21), with skipper Virat Kohli (20), the middle-order duo of Cheteshwar Pujara (45) and Ajinkya Rahane (61) stabilized the innings and got the team out of trouble. The experienced pair eventually added a much-needed stand of 100 runs to the steady Indian second innings.
However, the hosts fought back by firing three wickets in quick succession. Mark Wood breaks the partnership between Pujara and Rahane to give his side a sigh of relief. He fired Pujara with an absolute snort.
Pujara’s dismissal brings back two more scalps for England Moeen Ali remove Indian vice-captain Rahane and a super all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja (3). India reached 181/6 in 82 overs before weak lights forced the officials to announce early stumps. Indian wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh pants (14 no) and Ishant Sharma (4 no) are folding.

Should England have kept up with spinners for a few overs or will fetch a new ball tomorrow? Even 10-15 runs can make a big difference to both sides’ fortunes. The fate of the match depends on what Pant does tomorrow

Not sure India will be unhappy when he sees the ball bounce off England to bat for the last time … #ENGvIND

India’s lead is now 154 runs with four weeks left.
Only three times has India successfully defended goals of 170 or less in Tests – both against Australia 107 in Mumbai 2004 and 143 in Melbourne 1981.
And once 170 v SAf in Ahmedabad 1996#ENGvsIND #EngvInd#IndvsEng #INDvENG

Next to bat at the crucial moment of a massive test at Lord’s? @ RishabhPant17, do not relax.

Pretty ready for day 5. India struggled to score 200 on a day on day 4. No reason to believe that on day 5. England will be easier to score points. go to the target or play a draw. #INDvENG

A special day of Test cricket! 👌
India scored 181 runs for the loss of 6 wickets, but it was the 💯 point between Rahane and Pujara that stole the show.
