Cricket fraternity praises Bajrang Punia as bronze winner at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics

Star wrestler Bajrang Punia managed to increase the medal of India during the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The Indian wrestler completely dominated Kazakhstan‘s Daulet Niyazbekov in the bronze medal match to win the medal for his country.

Punia defeated Niyazbekov 8-0 in the 65 kg category in the Makuhari Messe Hall A Mat B on Saturday. With this, Team India equaled its total of six medals recorded at the London Olympics in 2012. Apart from Punia, PV Sindhu, Lovlina Borgohain, Men’s Hockey Team won the bronze medal in the running competition.

In response to the news, the Indian cricket fraternity praises Punia for its phenomenal effort in the global arena. Former Indian cricketer VVS Laxman congratulated Punia on the excellent performance.

Senior batsman Dinesh Karthik congratulated the wrestler for completely dominating the game.

Rising Indian talent Suryakumar Yadav Punai named champion while wishing the bronze medal winner.
