Cricketing Fraternity joins Twitter to wish India a happy Independence Day

The Cricket Brotherhood shared heartwarming posts on social media to wish people a happy Independence Day. Many former Indian cricketers and active players like Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Anil Kumble, Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh, Navdeep Saini, Rishabh Pant among others shared posts on Twitter to wish everyone on the country’s 75th Independence Day. India celebrates its 75th anniversary of independence on 15 August 2021.

BCCI also shared a Twitter post to wish everyone on Independence Day. BCCI Secretary Jay Shah also took to Twitter to wish everyone a blessed day. Former English cricketer Kevin Pietersen also wished people on Independence Day a beautiful post he had written in the Hindi language.

Cricketers wish India a happy Independence Day on Twitter

Sachin Tendulkar shared a photo of himself batting his helmet displaying the national flag in three colors. ‘I always carried the flag proudly on my helmet and it always reminded me why I stepped on the field. Wishing a very happy 75th #Independence Day to all the Indians around the world, Jai Hind! Tendulkar co-wrote the post.

Virender Sehwag shared a photo in which he drew the tricolor of the national flag. Along with the picture, the former cricketer wishes everyone on Independence Day some beautiful lines in Hindi.

Dinesh Karthik shared a photo of the Indian cricket team in which players were seen before a match that stands for the national anthem. ‘One of the biggest feelings is to listen to the national anthem before we step on the field to represent our country. Always cherish it! Karthik wrote in the report.

Meanwhile, the Indian cricket team is busy today with the continued 2nd Test against England at Lord’s. Day 4 of the running test starts today. After the first innings, England took a 27-run lead. The Virat Kolhi and boys will open the batting line-up at the start of day 4 and set a goal for England in the second innings, while having a 27-run lead.
