Many former Indian cricketers and active players like Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Anil Kumble, Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh, Navdeep Saini, Rishabh Pant among others shared posts on Twitter to wish everyone on the country’s 75th Independence Day. India celebrates its 75th anniversary of independence on 15 August 2021.
BCCI also shared a Twitter post to wish everyone on Independence Day. BCCI Secretary Jay Shah also took to Twitter to wish everyone a blessed day. Former English cricketer Kevin Pietersen also wished people on Independence Day a beautiful post he had written in the Hindi language.
