Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin is known for expressing his opinion fairly freely. He is one of the few men’s cricketers who regularly talks about women’s cricket and shares his views on the matches of different teams.
Recently, the Tamil Nadu tweaker reacted to the final T20I played in between England Women and India Women at County Ground in Chelmsford.
Ashwin took to Twitter and praised England opening batsman Danielle Wyatt for an incredible beat to take her side over the finish line and win the T20I Series. Wyatt smashed an unbeaten 89 from 56 deliveries and inspired the host to chase the 154-run target in 18.4 overs with eight wickets in hand.
‘Quality beats that of Dani Wyatt! “Well done, England won a fantastic series, and India was equally impressive throughout.” Ashwin wrote on the microblog site.

After the match, Wyatt responded to Ashwin’s tweet and thanked the Indian cricketer for kind words. She even described Ashwin as a legend of the game. Wyatt wished the Chennai-born good luck for the Test series against England, but ended her tweet with a brutal line of ‘not too much’.
‘Thank you so much, Ashwin! Nice to receive kind words from a legend in the game. Good luck to our boys, but not too much (Closed-Eyes Smile emoji), ” Wyatt tweeted.

Ash was unable to respond to Wyatt’s comic response. He thanked her and wished her strength for the next project for England Women against New Zealand women.
“(Star-struck face with tears of joy emoji) Thank you very much and good luck with the kiwis (Thumbs up emoji),” wrote the offie.

Ashwin himself is currently in the United Kingdom (UK), preparing for the upcoming five-match Test series against England by appearing in provincial matches. The 34-year-old played a game for Surrey, where he scored seven wickets in the game against Somerset.
The red ball fight between England and India starts in the first week of August. The second cycle of the World Test Championship (WTC) 2021-23 also starts from this series.
