David Warner reacts after Suryakumar Yadav did not select him in his everyday IPL XI

Indians of Mumbai (MI) batsman and Team India’s youngest yard Suryakumar Yadav, recently chose his everyday IPL XI. The Pune boy surprised many fans when he left out quite a few well-known names in his team.

Surya did not choose the second most successful captain in terms of IPL titles, MS Dhoni. He also left out Suresh Raina from his XI. Remarkably, Raina is the third highest run-scorer in the history of IPL.

Another surprising move by Surya was that he did not choose Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) star David warns. The Aussie is one of the most consistent run-scorers and successful starters in the lucrative league.

For the starting pair, Suryakumar teamed up with Rajasthan Royals (RR) wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Buttler an MI skipper Rohit Sharma.

When the ‘bag dynamite’ of Suryakumar’s team came to light, he left a hilarious reaction on social media. Warner went to Twitter and wrote: Can’t believe he left me out (face with tears of joy emoji). ‘

The extreme consistency of Warner can be understood with the fact that he has won the ‘Orange Cap’ three times in the tournament – the most by any batsman in the history of IPL. The 34-year-old achieved the feat in 2015 (562 runs), 2017 (641 runs) and 2019 (692 runs).

Overall, Warner is the fifth highest run-scorer in the exciting league and first among overseas players. The New South Wales cricketer collected 5447 runs in 148 matches at an average of 42.22 and a hit rate of 140.13.

Warner is the only player in the history of IPL to have scored 50 half-centuries. He also smashed four hundred, with 126 as his best score.

The southpaw has 201 sixes to his name, which is the fourth highest among foreign players. In terms of fours, Warner is at the top of overseas cricketers and second overall. He has so far smashed 525 fours in the lucrative league.
