Right arm fast bowler Prasidh Krishna was added to the India squad for the fourth Test against England, which starts on Thursday (September 2). The decision was taken at the request of the Indian team management to the BCCI after the third Test in Leeds.
“The senior selection committee in India – at the request of the team management – has added fast bowler Prasidh Krishna to the team of India for the fourth Test,” BCCI said in a media statement.
‘Prasidh, who was on the assist list, trained and traveled with Team India from the start of the tour. The upcoming test will be played from September 2 in The Oval, London. ”
Krishna, who is not yet making his Test debut, played three ODIs at home against the same opposition in March this year and took six wickets.
The fourth Test is played at The Oval in London, with the series at 1-1.
