Indian speedster Jasprit Bumrah engraved his name on the honors board at Trent Bridge for his beautiful bowling in the second innings of the first Test against England. It was the sixth wicket with five wickets for Bumrah in his glorious Test career.
The Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a video of the entire procedure on their official Twitter handle. Bumrah’s name is just below Ollie Robinson, who took five wickets against India in the first innings.
Overall, the Ahmedabad pacer scored nine wickets in the match. Bumrah took four headers in the first innings for 46 runs. Similarly, the right archer in the second set scored a five for 64 runs.

After day 4, Bumrah also talked about the ‘adjustments’ he made to get back in shape.
‘To not be very honest, not many adjustments. Just the mindset adjustments and probably not looking too much at the end result. I try to be in the moment and support my skills. I just try to constantly improve my game and add new things, but I carry the things I still have, ” says Bumrah at the post-day press.
‘There was a lot of heavy rolling on the wicket; it got a little slow, when we built a bigger length, it was a little easier than in the first inning. The wicket has gotten a little better, so we want to benefit from that. “ he added.
