In the recently concluded the third Test between England and India, wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh pants attracted everyone’s attention when he saw a shadow strike on the side of the non-strikers. The clip of the incident spread on social media.
Pant, who came to bat after India lost the big wicket of captain Virat Kohli, appears to be unaware of the fact that James Anderson storm in to bowl Ajinkya Rahane.
Despite the fact that Rahane was already in his batting position and waiting to play the ball, Pant saw a shadow. Before Anderson could deliver the ball, however, the Indian wicketkeeper came back into his fold.

Pant, however, failed to make his impact in the game Ollie Robinson fired the left-handed victim for just 1 run.
The Indian batting was the worst collapse on the fourth day and bagged 278 in their second innings and lost the match by an innings and 76 runs.
Robinson was the bowlers’ choice for England. He bagged 65 runs for five runs and was named ‘Player of the Match’ for his brilliant performance.
After the embarrassment, Kohli lost that the bat collapsed due to the pressure on the scoreboard.
‘It depends on the scoreboard pressure. We knew we were against it when we were 80, and the opposition got a big score. “We made important partnerships and made it through the day, but the pressure from the English bowlers was brilliant this morning, and we did not respond well.” says Kohli during the post-match presentation.
“Bat collapses can happen in this country; the field was good to save, but their discipline with the ball forced us to make some mistakes, and it was difficult to handle play where we did not get runs. We did not make good decisions as a batsman, “ he added.
