England Women vs India Women 2021, 2nd ODI Match Prediction

Indian women lost the first ODI against English women in Bristol. They were surpassed in each division by a very experienced English team who played to their potential and pulled a positive result out of the match. The second one-dayer in Taunton thus becomes a must-win game for the Indian equal behind in the game.

Except for Mithali Raj, none of the other batsmen stood up when she lost her partner on the other side. India eventually scored 201/8, which was not enough to challenge the opposition. Their bowlers were also not equipped enough to make a match out of it. Veterans Jhulan Goswami and Shikha Pandey was expensive and the other bowlers did not have much to bowl.

England, on the other hand, dominated the match. Tammy Beaumont scored an unbeaten 87 and with her Natalie Sciver scored an unbeaten 74. The English batsman did not seem at all in trouble to chase down the score. Their match plan remains the same in the second match with India women cricketers having to do a bit of thinking.
