England on Wednesday announced a group of 17 members for the first two Tests against India. Nottinghamshire opening batsman Haseeb Hameed, who plays the three-day continuous warm-up match against India, has been included in the main group.
Hameed will return to Test cricket after five years. It is coincidental that he played all three of his Test matches on the tour through India in 2016 before a finger injury had to start him all over again after he recovered.

Ollie Robinson, who was suspended for his sexist and racist tweets, is back in the group.
