Course spotlight: Legends Golf Club, a standout in SoCal
If you are on the fairway of Legends Golf Club at Temeku Hills in Temecula, California, your golf ball is not the only sphere that will grab your attention. This area is located in the heart of the Temecula wine country and is also known for its hot air balloon enthusiasts. A round here, especially in the morning, can therefore be filled with bystanders soaring high, high above the links.
Legends Golf Club has provided an updated and excellent experience to golfers in Temecula area since the new ownership bought the course in 2011 (the course was previously named “Temeku Hills”). Golf Course Architect PB Dye has updated the original Ted Robinson layout, with many elevated and multiple greens with a wide variety of pen locations that ordinary people will enjoy. This is a great layout for all player levels with five sets of tees to choose from. It is also a Youth on Course partner facility. YOC members can play nine holes for $ 5 after 3 p.m.
“I really loved this course,” the Golf Advisor reviewer wrote. TP33 in a review of August 2020. ‘This course was worth the money. The course was very nicely laid out and had some unique holes. Looking forward to playing here again. It is now one of my favorites in the Temecula area. ”
Arrive early for your start time and enjoy the excellent facilities of the club. The Legends facility features an excellent training facility that includes a cut-off area and an 8,000-square-foot green. Recent updates from the Legends facility include a new fleet of Club Car golf carts with soft seats. The hot air balloonists are not the only ones driving around here in style.
