Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson has put on paper a contract extension that allows him to stay at the Etihad Stadium until 2027.
Ederson expressed his joy after the announcement on Wednesday and told City’s official website: ‘It was an easy decision for me,’ he told mancity.com. “There’s nowhere else I want to be.
‘Being part of one of the best teams in world football and competing for trophies every year is what every footballer wants, and that’s the opportunity you get at City.
“We have an excellent manager. Working with him was one of the most wonderful experiences of my career, and I’m a better player for it.
“We have achieved so much in the last four years, and I am confident that we can achieve more success for the club in the coming seasons.”
More to follow.
