Fans have been eager for months to see MS Dhoni, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain, back in action since the IPL 2021 was suspended halfway due to the covid-19 outbreak. They wait in less than a month, as the rest of the season will resume in the UAE from September 19th.
The CSK contingent has completed their quarantine in Dubai and has already started their training and education sessions.
In the latest net session, MS Dhoni was in his ballistic mood with the bat, something that was rare after his international retirement as he had a weak season in the IPL.
The right-hander hit many giant sixes in the session, against both pacers and spinners, the video of which uploaded the franchise to their social media.
“Dhoni’s Sixes. Our love for Thala. Out of bounds, ”CSK endorsed the video.
Funny, the memories of childhood were revived when the skipper and his teammates then frolic in the nearby green, which consists of trees and bushes.

CSK returns to first leg in hunt for fourth IPL title
After a disappointing season last year – CSK could not qualify for the playoffs for the first time – the Yello Army roars back with 5 wins in 7 games and becomes second on the points ladder.
The addition of Moeen Ali was a revelation for the side. The English all-rounder scored 206 runs at a pass rate of 157.25, while Ruturaj Gaikwad, Faf du Plessis and Ravindra Jadeja handled things in the top and bottom order very well. However, MS Dhoni found it difficult to get started.
In the bowling division, Deepak Chahar and Sam Curran were the leading pacers of CSK, with Jadeja, Ali, Shardul Thakur and Lungi Ngidi playing the supporting role. They will tackle the defending champions of Mumbai Indians in the first match in the UAE.
