Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) have launched an investigation against Niroshan Dickwella and Kusal Mendis for allegedly violating the bio-bubble during the ongoing tour of England after a suspected video of them going viral on social media .
The two were seen wandering the streets of Durham on Sunday night after the final T20 international, which Sri Lanka lost. Both players were part of the playing XI in the match with Sri Lanka lost by 89 runs.

SLC will investigate whether they violated the bio-bubble by going out at night.
In response to the video, which was posted by a Sri Lankan supporter, SLC head Sammi Silva said: “An investigation is underway because they have violated the (code of conduct).” Sri Lanka fell 0-3 in the T20 series that ended on Sunday. It was the island’s fifth consecutive series loss in T20 international since October 2020.
