Senior Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin deserves a shock recall India’s T20 World Cup 2021 on Wednesday (September 8). Ashwin was mentioned in the outfit of 15 members who were Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
Some famous names like Shikhar Dhawan, Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav was not considered for selection. The inclusion of Ashwin and the appointment of a former captain MS Dhoni while the team mentor caused a huge buzz among the cricket fans on social media.
Ashwin, who has 111 one-dayers and 46 T20Is under his belt, last played white ball cricket in 2017.

India’s chief selector Chetan Sharma reveals the reason for Ashwin’s choice, declaring that Tamil Nadu’s good run in the IPL was in his favor.
