After the news that Pant tested positive broke out, the secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Jay Shah, allegedly wrote a letter to the Indian team regarding bio-bubble protocols.

The five-match Test series begins with the first Test played at the Trent Bridge site in Nottingham. The second Test will be played at Lord’s from 12 August, the third Test match will be played at Leeds from 25 August, and the fourth Test will be played at the Oval on 2 September.nd and the final and fifth Test will be played from 10 September in Manchester.

This test series is the first assignment for Virat Kohli and co. in the second cycle of the World Test Championship (WTC).
