Ruturaj Gaikwad sjoe! Hats off. Everything was in a mess early on and he continued to play a fantastic beat. And what a recovery by CSK. #CSKvMI

For a young man with a light appearance and classic batting technique, Ruturaj Gaikwad adapted very effectively to T20 cricket.

Ruturaj Gaikwad would be in a real minority when it comes to batsmen around the world who can claim to have swept Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult for boundaries in the same innings. #CSK # IPL2021 #CSKvMI

Fantastic victory by Chennai Super Kings when they come back to defeat the Indians of Mumbai after a terrible start. Bowlers performed excellently, but the star of the match should be Ruturaj Gaikwad.

Csk’s resilience won them this match.
MI would kick themselves. The conditions matched their pass attack and the pacemakers placed them on top. But in the end, the game was lost.

How important was DJ Bravo’s 23 out of 8! The momentum is changing in favor of CSK. Credit to Ruturaj for playing one of the best beats under pressure.

On slightly sluggish stands, there is an enormous value in a batsman carrying his bat through the innings. Gaekwad compiles the template for chapter two of this IPL.

RUTURAJ GAIKWAD! Tonight one of the best CSK beats. Really moody man.

Ruturaj Gaikwad’s six from Jasprit Bumrah on the last ball. What a shot against the league’s best bowler. pic.twitter.com/E4aP4KSEgS
