Indian pacemaker Jasprit Bumrah was at his best in the second session of the last day of the current fourth Test against England at Kennington Oval in London. Bumrah scored a game-changing period of six overs and picked up two important wickets to bring India back into the match.
The Ahmedabad boy showed his class with the old ball by overturning it and crushing the defense of two top-class English batsmen. First, Bumrah delivered a brilliant inswing delivery to get rid of Ollie Pous, who was the highest scorer for the host during the first innings.
The right-hander did not just stop there, as he sent shock waves to the English camp by delivering a counter-crushing yorker who got rid of Jonny Bairstow. It all happened during the 67th over when Bumrah finished off a full delivery that sank sharply and smashed Bairtsow’s stumps.
