The 17th game of the running game Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2021 took place between St Kitts and Nevis Patriots and Saint Lucia Kings, where the Patriots lost the game by six wickets. During the game, the Patriots struck Sherfane Rutherford loses his cool after losing his wicket due to a run-out.
Rutherford, who is currently the second highest scorer (201 runs) in the tournament, went on to bat when his team lost three wickets for 28 runs after choosing to bat first. Fabian Allen scored a significant 34 of 32 deliveries in the order before the Patriots were bundled for 118 in 19.3 overs.
