In the ninth game of the continuous Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2021 between Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) and St Lucia Kings (SLK), Tim Seifert continued his superior race in the competition and played an explosive beat.
Seifert hit 37 off 25 balls with 4 fours and a couple of sixes. During his display of attacking batting, Seifert hit a massive six-pointer Roston Chase, which has come a long way.
It all happened with the fourth ball of the 16th over when Chase dropped the ball around the middle and leg, returning the victim in his fold to score a giant six.

To bat first, the Knight Riders place 158/7 on the board in their allotted 20 overs. Apart from Seifert, skipper Kieron Pollard made a valuable contribution of 41 runs from 29 deliveries using seven boundaries.
Both Polly and Seifert formed an important 78-run partnership for the fifth wicket after the reigning champions lost four wickets for 68 runs in 12 overs. For Lucia Kings, pacer Kesrick Williams shines with the ball and takes a four-wicket haul for 24 runs in his quota of 4 overs.
In response, the Faf du Plessis-led side could only reach 131/7, lost the match by 27 runs. Opener Andre Fletcher played a tremendous beat of 81 runs from just 55 deliveries with the help of 10 limits, including 4 maximums.
Continuous falling of wickets on the other hand, however, did not help Fletcher take his team across the finish line. Apart from Fletcher, skipper Du Plessis (14) and Mark Deal (14) were the only batsmen to reach the double figure.
For TKR, Ravi Rampaul and Isuru Udana was the choice of the bowlers. While Rampaul scored three wickets for 34, Udana bagged a pair for 32 runs. Sunil Narine (1/16) and Akeal Hosein (1/12) impressed with their economic bowling.
