West Indies will assume Pakistan in the third match of the ongoing T20I series of four matches at the Providence Stadium in Guyana on Sunday (August 1).
The Babar Azam-led side won the second T20I on Saturday by seven runs. After the Men in Green were first placed in the batting line-up, they put 157-8 on the board with the help of Captain Azam’s 40-ball 51. In response, the hosts were able to score only 150 for the loss of 4 wickets. Mohammad Hafeez scored an economic game of 4-1-6-1 for the visitors.
In the third meeting, Kieron Pollard & Kie. will look back to keep the series alive as the first T20I was washed out due to rain. Pakistan, on the other hand, will look to clinch the series with a victory.
A competitive match between bat and ball is expected to help the fast bowlers and spinners. While the spacers will have to swing the ball early, the batsmen will try to use power restrictions.
