Winter Golf Preparation at Saddlebrook Golf & Tennis Resort in Florida –

Spotlight: Preparing for Winter Golf at Saddlebrook Golf & Tennis Resort in Florida

It’s hard to not just envy a shadow when you walk on the grounds of Saddlebrook Golf & Tennis Resort near Tampa. Also home to a boarding school for elite golfers and tennis players, you see smiling children enjoying their meals outdoors, sitting by the pool and the groomed earlobes walking on their way to classes or tuition or the first tea.

Doesn’t that sound exactly like your own high school experience?

Then, of course, their grooved golf swings are something to behold.

The good news is that we can all feel young again in the 36-hole Saddlebrook Resort. There are two charming 18 acres full of preserved wetlands and forests. There are two charming 18-hole courses to choose from, a rejuvenating spa, four dining concepts and an excellent fitness center and academy.

The original Saddlebrook Course, a par 70 layout, has softer ground than the more sculpted and newer Palmer Course, which contains more difficult green complexes, but relatively spacious clean roads.

“The Palmer is well maintained and is easily one of my favorites,” he wrote 101 in a Golf Advisor review from July 2020. ‘The greens are perfect and there is plenty to offer after your round. For the price, it is the best non-private course in the area. ”

The 18th hole of the Saddlebrook course is a long and narrow par 4 that wraps around a dam and ends next to the main resort mass, where viewers can quite possibly watch your finish.
