The Black Stars have disappointed their fans in recent competitions, but the former Swansea City star is hopeful that this will change
Ghana captain Andre Ayew believes fans will be excited about the national team again soon.
The Black Stars failed to qualify for the 2018 World Cup before being eliminated in the last 16 rounds of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
However, the former Swansea City forward is confident the team will rediscover their best form.

The Black Stars are among the teams that will play in the Afcon competition in Cameroon, which is planned for early 2022.

Recently, Ayew was awarded the Ghana Footballer of the Season Award. The forward has had a great season with the Welsh outfit in the recent season.
The 31-year-old was directly involved in 21 goals the Swans scored in the league, finding the back of the net 17 times and scoring four goals. He was also on target for the team in the promotion play-off match and scored the only goal in the 2-1 loss to Brentford.
Ayew also played a key role in ensuring that Ghana advanced to the 2020 Africa Cup of Nations final.
