Liverpool is reportedly prioritising a move for Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola, with the player said to be open to the transfer. This development comes as Liverpool seeks to reinforce its attacking options, particularly following the departure of Mohamed Salah. However, securing Barcola may prove challenging due to PSG’s valuation of the 23-year-old.
According to reports, Fabrizio Romano has indicated that Barcola has given priority to Liverpool’s project if a deal can be finalised with PSG. Liverpool has been leading the race for Barcola since April and is actively working on the transfer. The club is currently awaiting indications from PSG regarding the price and specific details of a potential agreement.
PSG is reportedly demanding a substantial fee for Barcola, with some sources suggesting a valuation of €170m. This figure is influenced by Barcola’s achievements, including back-to-back Champions League and Ligue 1 titles, a strong performance in the World Cup, and his age. Despite the high asking price, PSG is prepared to sell, especially if the player expresses a desire to leave, as manager Luis Enrique has stated he only wants players committed to the club.
