Transfer movements across London clubs

The summer transfer window is seeing significant activity among London clubs, with Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham all looking to bolster their squads. Chelsea have reportedly agreed a substantial fee with Aston Villa for Morgan Rogers.

Reports indicate that Arsenal, while having missed out on a deal for Rogers, are expected to announce the signing of Christos Tzolis. The club also continues its pursuit of Bruno Guimaraes. Additionally, Nico Williams is said to have re-emerged as a target for the Premier League champions.

Chelsea‘s agreement for Rogers is reported to be worth a substantial fee. The England international could potentially be joined in west London by Maxence Lacroix, as the Blues are in discussions with Crystal Palace regarding the central defender. According to one report, Chelsea would need to spend £55m for Lacroix.

In other news for Chelsea, the club has reportedly had a £60million bid rejected by Bournemouth for Alex Scott. The midfielder has reportedly declined multiple contract offers from Bournemouth, who maintain that the player is not for sale.

Former Chelsea centre-back Malang Sarr is reportedly set to join SC Neom in Saudi Arabia. He has reportedly turned down offers from European clubs to move to the Saudi Pro League. Furthermore, Chelsea has added John Stones to their centre-back shortlist, with the England international being a free agent after his contract with Manchester City expired.

Other notable transfer developments

Manchester United have acquired youngster Tynan Thompson from Tottenham and are reportedly increasing efforts to sign Manu Kone. They are also in initial talks with Crystal Palace for Ismaila Sarr. Newcastle United has made enquiries regarding a summer transfer for AC Milan centre-back Fikayo Tomori. Coventry City is also reportedly interested in the player, who AC Milan reportedly values between €15million and €20m. Tomori is reportedly considering his options as Milan looks to sell him before his contract concludes in 2027.

Hull City is exploring a potential deal for Norwich full-back Kellen Fisher, though no talks between the clubs have commenced yet. Bournemouth is making progress in discussions to sign Benfica defender Antonio Silva, with confidence that a deal will be reached as they seek a replacement for Marcos Senesi.
