A father and his 8-year-old son calmed a violent passenger on a Jet2 flight from Izmir to Manchester. The incident occurred on flight LS1004, when a disruptive woman became aggressive after her alcohol was confiscated.
Cabin crew were moments away from diverting the flight due to her behavior. In a decisive move, the father swapped seats with another passenger to sit beside the woman.
The boy used football cards and conversation to help calm her down. He stayed with the woman for approximately 3.5 hours.
The flight continued to Manchester without any diversion. Upon landing, police met the disruptive passenger.
