Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden welcomed their third child, Nautas Madden, on May 4, 2026. The couple announced this surprise addition shortly after Diaz’s return to acting.
Nautas means ‘Sailor, navigator, voyager. One who embarks on a journey and fears not the unknown.’ The couple expressed joy over the birth via social media.
Diaz, now 53, and Madden, aged 47, married in 2015. They are already parents to two other children: Raddix, born in December 2019, and Cardinal, born in March 2024.
Both Raddix and Cardinal were born via surrogacy after the couple faced challenges with infertility. Diaz has previously stated that being a mother is the ‘best part’ of her life.
Benji Madden shared on Instagram: “Cameron and I are Happy, Excited, and feeling so BLESSED to announce the birth of our third Child, Nautas Madden. Welcome to the world Son!!”
Cameron Diaz returned to acting in January 2025 with the Netflix film ‘Back in Action.’ She also stars alongside Keanu Reeves in ‘Outcome,’ released in April 2026.
Diaz took a decade-long acting hiatus starting in 2014 to focus on family life. Observers note that this new chapter coincides with her Hollywood comeback.
